JOB OPPORTUNITY
Nantucket’s leading solar energy company is hiring a Solar Technician. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a technical mindset, and a passion for learning. Previous solar experience is not required. Full training (including equipment vendor-certified training) will be provided. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills in an exciting and growing industry. This is a full time hourly position with benefits package.
Work responsibilities include:
● Configuration of inverters and battery systems during installation and systems commissioning
● Installation and setup of CAT5 communication lines
● Remote monitoring of systems via fleet portals
● Remote and on-site triaging of issues and coordination with vendors for technical support
● Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
