About the Role
ACK Smart is looking for an Operations Manager to help run the day-to-day engine of our solar business. This is a central, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of operations, finance, HR, and customer coordination.
You’ll work closely with leadership and play a key role in keeping projects moving, customers informed, and the business running smoothly.
What You’ll Do

Coordinate with our Project Manager to keep projects on track

Manage customer contracts, invoicing, and payments

Work with our bookkeeper on payables and financial tracking

Oversee payroll, benefits, and general HR administration

Manage company insurance and compliance requirements

Support communication across sales, marketing, and operations

Keep systems organized and identify ways to improve how we operate
Qualifications & Experience

3–5+ years of experience in operations, office management, or business administration

Strong organizational and time management skills

Comfortable working across multiple functional areas (finance, HR, operations)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with standard business tools (QuickBooks, Spreadsheets, CRM systems, Google, etc.)

Ability to work independently and take initiative
